A new mass market paperback of The Fair Folk was published yesterday, the 18th of December. This is a World Fantasy Award winning anthology that contains the Megan Lindholm story Grace Notes.

First dates for the US book tour

Robin Hobb has posted the first dates for her Renegade’s Magic US book tour in 2008.
So far the dates include
* Jan 13, 2 PM PST : Mysterious Galaxy, San Diego
* Jan 16, 7 PM PST: University Bookstore, Seattle
* Jan 18, 7 PM PST: Bay Book & Tobacco, Half Moon Bay CA (Bay Area)
* Jan 19, 3 PM PST: Borderlands, San Francisco
* Feb 1, 7 PM PST: Powell’s, Portland/Beaverton
* Feb 7, 7 PM: Borders at 4477 S. Lamar, Austin

Renegade’s Magic will be available in US January 8th, 2008. If you can’t attend any of the events, you can order a signed and personalized copy through signedpage.com.

A blog called Fantasy Book Critic is running a giveaway competition with Robin’s US publisher EOS Books. You can win a whole set of the Soldier Son trilogy: Shaman’s Crossing, Forest Mage and Renegade’s Magic. Anyone can enter, the giveaway is not limited to US citizens although the books are the US editions.
