French graphic adaptation of the Farseer continues

26 Feb, 2009 filed under: Robin Hobb, France, Switzerland, Belgium

The second part of the French graphic novel adaptation of the Farseer trilogy will be available on March 16th, 2009. Les Rivages Maudits also has the cover art for it and there are several page samples that can be viewed at their forums. If you live in France, Switzerland or Belgium, you can enter a competition to win a copy here, but there are only a few days left, so hurry.

Like the original French translation, the graphic adaptation will also be in nine parts, covering all the three original books. Each part is reported to be about 47 pages.

A Fantasy Medley is available for preorders through amazon.com as well as from the publisher’s site.

Jackie Morris, who recently illustrated the covers for the new UK editions of the Farseer, the Liveship Traders, the Tawny Man and the Soldier Son trilogies has received a part of the finished Dragon Keeper manuscript and will make the cover art for that book as well. She often posts progress report photos about her works at her fantastical journal so keep an eye on it.
