Aha! Looks like we're going to meet a familiar face in the next Rain Wilds book!

these beings find that interesting. It proves some of their theories.
Teehee I wasn't sure whether to look or not!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ok I looked
ok yay, wow Robin must have been reading our discussion in the other thread hey???
It is not impossible that she has... But it could just as well be that she is reading to see how far off we are in our debates, is it not?
(These beings presume that they guess incorrectly on most major parts about future books)
Yes she might be having a good chuckle!
I think if I was an author I'd have to avoid these discussions like the plague or I'd go nuts when I read someone predicting a plot line I was currently working on !!! (it's got to happen sometimes even if just through sheer luck)
with enough thinkers, most possible plot lines will be thought out... but not in proper order, and not by any single person in one go.
The way she described it in the quote mervi posted, shows that her characters are "alive" like characters in many series are in many authors' eyes... (like one author we've read books by, said that one of the main characters would've tied his tongue into a knot if he tried to speak "high style" for long periods of time... ("high style" being thees, thous and forasmuches...)

Nice pick-up, Mervi

...oh, the anticipation!!!!
Should I be glad?
Malta is one of my favorite characters, but if she's in trouble...
I don't think Robin visits these forums - she does sometimes post things to Willem's board or the French Rivages Maudits forums, and she does visit the main site and occasionally leaves comments on the news. And I'm sure she's got her hands full with her owns sites and the newsgroup anyway.
Speaking of which, there was a bit more teasing
posted over the weekend...
Quote:Well, Malta has faced one challenge, only to find a bigger one right round the corner.
Meanwhile, back at the city, Sintara is in way over her head. Literally.
Rapskal, you sly dog! That almost worked for you, didn't it?
'tis just plain cruel to tempt with such tidbits...
*waits for more*
