no idea, actually. These beings were browsing through our archive and found one of them. Not the best quality, but not horrible either.
these beings misrecalled series name.

Correct name was "night huntress" and author was Jeaniene Frost.

Ahh, I had forgotten about those two books. I read them several years ago and enjoyed them as a quick little read. Smiling I have another series by Karen Miller that has been on my shelf for years but I've never picked up. Maybe I will soon..... Book

I can't get started on a Manga series unless it's done (well, and unless it's a giant series that spans years, read: Bleach). Bunny Drop isn't even on manga-access.com ! As for Manga, I read the new episodes of Bleach every week, but also just read Sword Art Online. Fun story if you like video games, particularly MMORPGs. There are 10 (out of 12) episodes of the anime out, too. Great series.

In the book department, I'm on book 4 of the Vorkosigan saga. It isn't a series that makes me think so much, but it's entertaining and I'm loving the space-setting. I haven't been in a fantasy mood for a while so I've been reading sci-fi, dystopian novels, cyberpunk, etc etc. I have Ready Player One on the list next. And perhaps a re-read of Ender's Game.

these beings have gotten through five of the books in the "night huntress" series. While not the greatest stuff, they are decent. Fairly well-established lore system for the supernatural.
I'm reading book one of the 'Godspeaker' series by Karen Miller. It's not half as enjoyable as Kingmaker..the sense of humour seems to have disappeared Uhhuh

It's there under its other name: Usagi drop.
these beings finished up most of those books now. Only one published they have not read.

The series had a rather interesting end take on the supernatural, and it seems as if all the books are building up to something, but its hard to say what.
I finally got my hands on all of the Dresden Files (Jim Butcher) and read them (OK, read them a few times) and am eagerly awaiting the next one, out in November. I tried the first of Butcher's high fantasy series - Furies of Calderon - and was not impressed. His low fantasy is much better than his high fantasy, so far.

Meanwhile, I'm halfway thru Elvenbane (Mercedes Lackey and Andre Norton). It took forever to get into this book. But now that I'm half way thru, it's starting to suck me in.
