Clapping Good spotting Lady Persephone! I remember that bit from AF now, but at the time of reading it didn't ring any bells that it spelled out the answer to this mystery.

(Btw is there any chance you might be interested in editing the wiki...? With all the re-reading back and forth that you're doing, you're in the perfect position to spot facts like this that are still missing from it.)

Wink Yay Well, I wish I had so much more time, but oh well, why not?!  I'm in the thick of writing my own book, but I still find myself obsessed with TRotE and as I own all of the books and a lot of the short stories, it'll be easy for me to return to them and dig through them and unearth these verbal flame jewels such as the mystery of the Kendry solved.  Book  It really has helped to read through most of the posts here whilst I was reading so I could keep my eyes opened for points of discussion.

Do I need a password to edit the wiki?  Let me know!
Great! Yay

You need an account to edit the wiki, yes. Once upon a time you could have used the one you created for these forums, but alas the systems aren't compatible like that anymore. (I'm mentioning that because I'm sure there are confusing references to it among posts here.) There's a couple of hoops we have to jump through due to spammers abusing the join form but it's not too complicated: here's where you can "Request account" - once you've got the confirmation email, I'll click a button on my end and your account will be created. If there's any issues or you need help on how to edit etc, just send me a PM and we'll figure it out!

Smiling  OK here I go!  Sorry it took hours to get back here.  Blushing Silly boring work always gets in the way of the fun stuff in life, doesn't it?  I'm going to the link now.  Wink
There's no hurry! I'm off work this week and the next, which is why I've been hanging around more than usual.  Big Grin

You should now have received an email with the login details. And oh, if the wiki suddently throws you "out" (you were logged in and suddenly it looks like you're not) just make sure there's an s in the https in the address bar. It's an annoying redirect error I need to fix ASAP.  Dodgy

Aww thanks Mervi *bear hugs* All's good so far! You're the best!  Slurp
Well . . I can "see" the source, but it's not allowing me to edit it.  It says this:

"You do not have permission to edit this page, for the following reason:

The action you have requested is limited to users in the group: emailconfirmed."

I thought it had confirmed my email but perhaps there is something more to this?  As a professional test analyst (which basically means I spend all day looking for bugs in programs, a really tedious job for a creative person *sarcastic chuckles*) this looks to be a good, old-fashioned bug in the system?

Help me!  Surrender
