these beings just finished reading it, and it was every bit as good as expected... even if it ended in a cliffhanger...

As usual! I've read the first few pages of the next book via the 'look inside' feature on Amazon and am even more intrigued...it'll have to come down in price a little yet before I buy it, mind.
