Member of [[Salt]]'s [[Coterie]]. Was the one willing to give heart to [[Girl-on-a-Dragon]], originally announced as [[Realder's Dragon]].

Realder was the [[Catalyst]] to an unnamed female [[White Prophet]], a skill vision of whom [[Fitz]] and [[the Fool]] encounter in the Stone Plaza on their quest to rescue Verity.

Realder stuck a bargain with the Fool the first time the two flew together during the [[Cleansing of Buck]]. If the Fool brought Realder's Dragon the [[Rooster Crown]], Realder would return to the Fool the memories Fitz foolishly fed to the dragon.

The '''Catalyst''' is a person whose existence makes changes in the course of history possible. He can only be recognised by the [[White Prophet]] of that period, who makes prophecies about how the future must be and guides the Catalyst to change the course of history.
==Relation between the White Prophet and the Catalyst==
The relation between the White Prophet and the Catalyst is a complex one, because while changing the course of history, the White Prophet might have to ask some sacrificies from the Catalyst. This might cause some friction between the two and there can also be some jealousy between them as the story of [[Redda]] and [[Hoquin the White]] his rabbit illustrates:

Satrap who originally drew up the [[Bingtown Charter]], giving the lands of the [[Cursed Shores]] to the [[Bingtown Traders]] and the [[Rain Wild Traders]].

Satrap Esclepius had a great passion for the religion of the [[White Prophet]]s, and collected rare manuscripts and books of [[White]] prophesies. He often meditated on randomly selected passages from the books - an activity which had become quite fashionable amongst the nobility of Jamaillia, until condemned by the priests of Sa.

Satrap Esclepius aided [[Beloved]] in his quest to travel to Six Duchies, granting the strange pale boy a free passage on one of the [[Chalced]]-bound slavers.
