'''Hedge-magic''' is a form of magic primarily in the [[Six Duchies]]. This magic is fairly commonplace and often represented at markets, fairs, and festivals. Common folk seem to attach no awe to hedge-magic, unlike other Six Duchies' magics, the [[Wit]] and [[Skill]]. Some practitioners are street magicians that use sleight of hand, tell fortunes to entertain, and sell love potions. They call themselves [[hedge-witch]] or -wizard, but are not magical at all. True practitioners' foremost offerings are constructed charms of various effects. 

As with most occupations and skills in the Six Duchies, hedge-magic knowledge is passed from master to apprentice.
