He is a handsome young man with blue eyes, muscled arms and broad bare shoulders. Though he is a young man, many women have said he has a boyish charm to him. He is known as a flirt and a bit of a gossip, carrying rumors from [[Trehaug]] to [[Bingtown]]. Once [[Tintaglia]] rescued him from the Chalcedon War Fleet, Kendry's Dragon memories awoke. Instead of becoming a hybrid of Kendry and the Dragon, like [[Paragon]] or [[Vivacia]], the Dragon memories completely took over. He began to refuse to do anything for his family or people, and only does things at [[Tintaglia]]'s request.

She was quickened after [[Ephron Vestrit]] died. [[Althea Vestrit]] was thought to take her captaincy after his father, but instead Vivacia was inherited by her sister [[Keffria Vestrit|Keffria]], thus Keffria's husband [[Kyle Haven]] became her captain. As he is not of the Vestrit blood, he decided to take their son [[Wintrow Vestrit|Wintrow]] on board to keep Vivacia company.

Even though Vivacia was newly quickened, child-like, Kyle decided to use her as a slaver to gain larger profits to pay off the price of her to the [[Khuprus]] family. As a liveship is able to feel the emotions of her crew and those aboard her this was not a wise decision. Not even the company of Wintrow could keep Vivacia happy, as he wasn't happy himself but wanted to go back to his monastery. This is why the pirate [[Kennit]] found it so easy to capture her - she didn't like her captain or crew. At the moment Kennit chose to conquer her there was a slave uprising going on and no-one was tending the sails or the wheel. Under the normal circumstances wooden ships can't overtake liveships as they are able to help their crew. Kennit, being of an [[Old Trader]] family himself, was able to make Vivacia happier.

Vivacia was awoken to her dragon origins by the [[She Who Remembers]], becoming something between a Vestrit and the dragon Bolt.

'''Ophelia''' was a [[liveship]] owned by the [[Tenira]] family. Captained by [[Tomie Tenira]]. One of the few liveships that claims not to have dragon memories, probably because the creature had died before the [[Rain Wild Traders]] cut the cocoon and used it as planks for the ship.

She was one of the first liveships to be built. Like all ships of her age she is larger than the more recently built ships. Her figurehead is located on the beakhead, not below the bowsprit, like the [[Vivacia]] or [[Paragon]]. A catwalk was built around the figurehead for her to socialize with the crew easier. An oversized dice box was created for her to gamble with her crew. Because she has no money of her own she gambles with secrets and information. She is bareshouldered and has red lips. She a busybody and a gossip, and is known for telling people exactly what she thinks. She is very proud and loyal to the [[Tenira]] family as well as to [[Bingtown]].

After her hands were burned and stained with tar from a Chalcedean ship, [[Amber]] recarved her hands to fix them. The pieces of [[wizardwood]] that were left over from the carving were made into a bracelet for her to wear. The smaller unusable pieces Ophelia swallowed so none of her [[wizardwood]] was lost.

He quickened too soon, and had not absorbed enough human memories to be strongly centered in them, so his identity was shattered from the beginning.

Paragon has brown hair and a beard. His bare chest is muscled and has brown hair on it, as well as a large scar that resembles a seven pointed star. His arms are heavily muscled giving him the appearance of a warrior. Three large masts are on his decks.

Paragon's figurehead was later re-carved by [[Amber]] into that of a man strongly resembling [[Fitz]]. Amber also crafted Paragon an axe and engraved a charging buck on the handle, which tightens the link to Fitz as he was suited to using an axe in battle and the charging buck is the symbol given to Fitz by Verity. Amber also built a door into the floor of the captains cabin, much to the dismay of [[Brashen Trell]] and [[Althea Vestrit]].
