A '''Steady''' is a son of [[Burrich]] and [[Molly]], said to live up to his name. He answered the [[Calling]] some years after [[Fitz]]'s return from the [[Out Islands]] and together with [[Nettle]] became the core of the new King's [[Coterie]]. He didn't seem to be strongly

[[Skilled]] at first but proved to have uncovered reserves of strength and calm that made him suited to be a [[King's Man]].

 

There was also a horse named [[Steady (horse)|Steady]] in the [[Buckkeep stables]] under Burrich's care.
