The convention takes took place from December 5th to 7th 2024 in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA. The book can be preordered was available for preorders through the Grim Oak Press website and with options for either be picked up pickup at the con or be shipped later shipping to the buyer. The book was sold out, and subsequently an ebook edition was donated to Brandon Sanderson's The Lightweaver Foundation.''Grimoire'' contains a brand new short story by [[Robin Hobb]] titled [[Harbinger]]. It is also notable for featuring the first published story by her daughter Kat Ogden. This Dragonsteel Grimoire will be followed by another one titled [[Grimoire: A Grim Oak Press Anthology For Emerald City Comic Con 2025]] and possibly other similar titles.
