'''Harpy's Flight''' is the first book in the [[Windsingers' Quartet]]. First published in 1983, it was the first published novel of [[Megan Lindholm]]. She had previously published two short stories, [[Bones for Dulath]] in ([[AMAZONS!]] , 1979) and [[The Small One]] (in [[Fantastic Stories Vol 27]], #11. 1980), set in the same world. Chronologically Harpy's Flight is the first story of the adventures of ''Ki'' and ''Vandien''.
