Croft is a small village in the [[Near Islands]]. It was the first Six Duchies settlement to have some of its folks to be [[forged]] by [[Red Ship Raiders]]. Faced with the baffling demand to either pay a ransom or have their people returned, they decided to pay. Seeing their kin bereft of all humanity, they chose to kill them.
