Queen Constance was the first wife of King [[Shrewd]] and the mother of [[Chivalry (King-In-Waiting)|Chivalry]] and [[Verity]]. She was a noble lady from [[Shoaks]] who also had relatives in [[Bearns]]. According to Lady [[Patience]], she was a queen that spurred others to action, and especially women. Half of the guard was female during her reign. She died of a birth fever with her infant daughter.
She had a tower top garden called the [[Queen's Garden]], where grew lots of different sorts of thyme . She also had a hunting cat called [[Hisspit]].
