'''The Inheritance''' is an upcoming Robin Hobb anthology. It will contain both previously published and completely new stories, and stories written under both pen names, Robin Hobb and Megan Lindholm.
There are no official details about the contents yet, but presumably the book might contain [[The Inheritance]] and [[Mother of Fey]] (for the first time ever in English) and a story called [[Cat's Meat]]. (Mentioned in the newsgroup or speculated otherwise among fans.) [[Jackie Morris]] who has done the cover art and has read some or all of the manuscript mentioned it has "wonderful Rainwilds stories in and quite a few cats". The cover hasn't been officially published yet, but Jackie's photos show two cats sitting, looking at each other.
