'''Spit''' is a male silver [[dragon]], originally partnered by no keeper. [[Thymara]], [[Tats]] and [[Sylve]] care for him when his tail is wounded. Eventually he partners with [[Carson]].
The silver dragon is born with few memories and little ability to communicate. As he spends more time among the keepers he gains awareness. After the flood of the [[Rain Wild River]], he gives a demonstration of his increasing physical strength; his venom is powerful, and he announces to the other dragons that he names himself after his strongest trait, Spit.
[[Carson]] steps up to become Spit's sole keeper after [[Greft]] is ejected by [[Kalo]]. Carson, who has an affinity for animals of all sizes, is impressed with Spit's tenacity and cunning, even when Spit uses him and [[Sedric]] as bait for [[gallators]] during their hunt for Greft and his stolen supplies.
