Fedwren

A scribe, who lived in Buckkeep during winters and taught the keep's children to read and write. In summers, he traveled the Six Duchies to offer his services to the populace. Fedwren saw talent for illustration and writing in Fitz, and offered Fitz an apprenticeship, although Fitz, being apprenticed to Chade, could not accept nor tell Fedwren why.

Master Fedwren was interested in the history of Six Duchies and hoped to contribute to its writing. His big dream was have paper so cheap, that all the people could be taught to read and write and create instructions to their knowing.
