Ryan and the Stone Lion was the first book, a full length children's novel, written by Megan Lindholm. It was never published and now only exists as a carbon paper copy in an old filing box.

Robin in a newsgroup discussion on 19th of August, 2009:

"It was about a boy who made friends with one of the stone lions outside his library, and heard the long tale of how the lion came to be cracked in the head. Which was why he felt free to talk to the boy while his brother lion remained silent. And what happens when the city decides to tear down the old library and build a new one. The intact lion will be sold off, but the cracked one will be junked.
