Ronica is a short, tenacious woman who is considered an oddity in modern [[Bingtown]] society, as she manages the Vestrit family finances and properties. She and Ephron lost two sons in the [[Blood Plague]] that swept through Bingtown about 20 years prior to the events of [[Ship of Magic]].
