He was especially talented in working with stained glass. He was brought aboard [[Vivacia]] against his will to replace his aunt [[Althea Vestrit|Althea]] as the close relative whose presence is required by any [[liveship]]. == Sailing with Kyle ==Wintrow, who wanted nothing to do with sailing, and Vivacia started with a strained relationship, peaking when Wintrow ran away in [[Jamaillia]]. He was found and taken as a slave, discovered by his father's first mate [[Torg]], and bought back by Kyle. In his anger, and pressured by Torg, Kyle ordered Wintrow tattooed with a crude image of Vivacia, indicating his status as a slave owned by the ship. == Sailing with Kennit ==Despite being leery of the pirate captain to begin with, he is slowly won over with Kennit's soft words, good deeds, and manipulations.
