Amis tried hard to distance herself and her family from the scandal that surrounded Paragon, going so far as to try and arrange to sell him to [[New Trader]] [[Mingsley]], through [[Davad Restart]]. [[Ronica Vestrit]], [[Keffria Vestrit]], and Davad convince her to sell Paragon to [[Amber]] and [[Brashen Trell]] instead.
