In Fitz childhood, the stables were mastered by [[Burrich]] who lived in an upstairs room above the stalls, keeping a strict rein on the stable running.
After the [[Red Ship War]] the Buckkeep stables saw large developments, causing [[Hands]] to move the main stables to a new, larger site and the old stables from Fitz's childhood to become abandoned by the nobility, thus causing it to become derelict and abandonedcompared to it's former glory.
