Kestrel of Buck was twin sister to [[Gull]] and a member of [[Stanchion]]'s [[coterie]]. She had her [[Skill]] locked within herself as punishment for the slaying of her sister, and They were identical. Their father was banished from a fisherman in the [[Six Duchies]] by Queen [[DiligenceBuck]] over 200 years ago. Kestrel was strongly Skilled, and used the Skill both to alter her body to remain young and heal itself, and to kill. She slew Gull - a coterie member - in a jealous rage when she found her in the arms of her lover Stanchion - the Coterie leaderDuchy.
Both Kestrel and Gull were [[Skill]]ed and became members of [[Stanchion]]'s [[coterie]]. Stanchion's coterie worked for Queen [[Diligence]]. Besides Kestrel, Gull and Stanchion himself there were two other members.
