Fitz later finds the missing [[Wizardwood feathers|feathers]] that fit into it on the [[Treasure Beach]]. The Fool uses it as a bargaining piece with [[Girl-on-a-Dragon]] to fly him to [[Aslevjal]].
It is smashed when the Fool is tortured and killed. The Fool re-assembles most of the crown with the his blood, save one piece left in the [[Pale Woman]]'s chamber room. Fitz find it when searching for the Fool and finishes the crown to aid which aids him with the resurrection of the Fool.
The crown is made of [[wizardwood]] and contains the lives of 5 famous bards and poets, who were the dear friends companions of dragons.
