Changes

At the end of [[Dragon Keeper]], [[Sedric Meldar]] takes blood from Relpda, with the aim of selling it to become wealthy. However, he accidentally ingests some of the blood, which initiates his changes into an [[Elderling]]. Relpda's thoughts begin to intrude into his mind, but she doesn't hate Sedric for taking her blood, instead she is protective of him.  After the massive flood takes them away from the [[Tarman]], Sedric and Relpda are dependant on each other to survive. When [[Jess]] tries to kill Relpda, Sedric fights him off, and eventually Relpda eats the hunter. They are found by [[Carson]], who helps lead them back to the Tarman.
