A rasp snake is a kind of large burrowing parasite that lives in the [[Rain Wilds]]. Its behavior is something like a tick and something like a leech; these snakes begin by embedding their heads in the flesh of the victim, and eat their way inward.
Many of the dragons that emerge at Casarick [[Cassarick]] are plagued with rasp snakes as they journey toward [[Kelsingra]].
