whoops! not a witted character but a term for the witted, possibly chalcedean as source is burrich
A term for the [[Witted]] girl, possibly [[Chalcedean]]. [[Fitz]] records the name in a tale of a girl who died of sorrow when her parents forbid her to wed the man she loved. When she passed, a she-bear that was her [[Wit]]-companion took her spirit into her keeping, and three nights later dug up her grave and restored her spirit into her body. This tale was the basis of [[Burrich]]'s decision to give Fitz poison when he was dying in [[Regal]]'s dungeons, despite the tale having a sad ending as the girl's true love refused her due to her having changed too much after being in a bear's body.
