A deck hand aboard [[Paragon]] during the attempt to rescue [[Vivacia]], former rapist.
He tries to rape [[Althea Vestrit]] onboard Paragon. She fights him off, shows herself as a capable second mate, and he begs to be transferred off of her shift to [[Lavoy|Lavoy's]] shift.
Once Lavoy betrays the Paragon's crew and abandons ship in [[Divvytown]], Artu is not heard from again. Presumably, he jumped ship with Lavoy.
