'''Tintaglia''' is a silvery-blue [[dragon]] hatched from the last remaining [[wizardwood]] log. The hatching was helped by [[Reyn Khuprus]] and [[Selden Vestrit]]. She had already haunted the dreams of Reyn and [[Malta Vestrit]], being desperate for help. Selden, the youngest son of [[Keffria Vestrit]] and [[Kyle Haven]], is becoming an [[Elderling]] and acts as an ambassador for Tintaglia.
While still cocooned, Tintaglia reaches out to influence Reyn Khuprus. She initially wins Reyn to her side but he is unable to convince his mother [[Jani Khuprus|Jani]] and brother [[Bendir Khuprus|Bendir]]. The Sea serpents needed dragon grew contemptuous of Reyn's inability to help in swimming into the her and haunted his dreams, trying to make him set her free. During one of these encounters, Malta used a [[Serpent Riverdream-box]] to connect with Reyn and to form cocoons from ask for help with her family's plight. Reyn thinks of the special sand that is only found in certain places along similarities of his two dream visitors and Tintaglia shows up. She focuses her attention on Malta and offers a deal; if Malta frees the riverdragon, mixing it with their own secretions. Tintaglia then protected them on her own as there was no other dragons to help herwill save Malta's father, Kyle.
Tintagliacontinues to target both Reyn and Malta, when she found out that the new dragons coming out of their cocoons are helpless and weak creatureseventually, and hearing that there might be another full-grown dragon lying in the ice of Malta ends up on [[AslevjalParagon|Paragon's]], started searching in dreams deck. Malta's connection to look out for every piece Tintaglia makes Paragon recall his dragon past and both of information that the dragons fight over Malta. Tintaglia is determined not to let her go, claiming she will kill Malta before she could find about this dragonlets another have the girl. Those haunted Malta is saved by her in their [[Skill-dream]]s were [[Nettle]] and [[FitzAmber]].
==Ship of Destiny==
After eating and sleeping, Tintaglia returns to save Reyn and Selden, and she brings them to Trehaug. Reyn asks her to search for Malta, they spot her on the river, and then the dragon flies away to find her missing race. She finds a dying serpent in the shallow [[Rain Wild River]] and determines that she needs the help of humans to save dragonkind.
Flying to [[Bingtown]], she encounters [Chalced|Chalcedean]] ships attacking. They shoot arrows at her and she destroys a few ships. Tintaglia is distracted by Selden Vestrit's singing and lands near some survivors of Bingtown. Despite Reyn not wanting to ally with her, she makes a deal with the survivors of Bingtown. The deal was for the humans to dredge the Rain Wild River to help the serpents swim upriver and protect the cocoons before they hatch. In return, she would protect the harbor and the river mouth and free [[Kendry]] and other [[Liveships]] potentially captured by the Chalcedeans.
Reyn, after learning that Malta is still alive, makes a separate deal with Tintaglia. He will dedicate his life to searching for other surviving cocoons in [[Elderling]] cities if Tintaglia will help save Malta. They fly off together and eventually reach Malta where Tintaglia meets up with the remainder of [[Sea serpents|Sea serpent]].

She finally succeeds to find the dragon [[Icefyre]] alive on the island of Aslevjal and to mate with him. From then on, the future of the dragons was assured again.
