Duke of Buck

The Duke of Buck is presumably a defunct role in the governing of the Six Duchies. It was a role previously held by King Virile's brother, Strategy. Duke of Buck was not maintained actively after Canny, Strategy's son and heir to the Duke of Buck title, ascended the throne. It has not been an active role until circumstances in Regal's reign. When Regal moved the capital of the Six Duchies from Buckkeep (located in Buck Duchy), to Tradeford (located in Farrow Duchy), Regal assigned the Duke of Farrow, Lord Bright, to rule in Buckkeep as the Duke of Buck. When the capital was moved back to Buckkeep, that role was eliminated and the role of Duke/Duchess of Farrow was reinstated.
